Job Retention Grants
Employers can submit information to HMRC via a portal about employees whose jobs may be threatened by the outbreak of the virus.
HMRC will then reimburse 80% of the wage cost of those employees who are retained, capped at £2,500 per month, for an initial period of three months. The payment will not be available until end of April 2020 but will be backdated to 1st March
All businesses are eligible, irrespective of size.
